What they needed

ClinicalNotebook is a site that specializes in short medical educational videos and virtual appointments with actual physicians. A non profit corporation, their ethos is to both educate and empower patients. How we facilitated this was to create a site which is highly informative, intuitive to use and which most importantly fulfills the needs of the patients who use it.

The company needed to heighten their presence as well as showcase and promote their innovative facility for connecting patients with a live appointment with a qualified doctor. Patients also need to feel that they can trust a site and we worked on layout and on wording which is clear and jargon-free. Due to the huge amount of information on the site, the layout in particular had to be clean and well set out with specific categories for each condition. With all this in mind, we created the site.

What we did

ClinicalNotebook is a professional and accessible site incorporating a wealth of medical informational videos. We also created an easy to fill in online form for patients to get in touch with a physician directly in order to discuss their own medical issues. We offered this service via both email and phone, making it convenient for all no matter their situation. ClinicalNotebook is a real leader in its field and needed the site to showcase this in an easily accessible way.

The result

The new website has enjoyed some excellent feedback and its client list is growing by the day. An individual’s health is their wealth and through this new site, anyone can access a physician at a time of day that is convenient to them.

What they needed

Kiser Group are a team of real estate professionals who promise to deliver integrated solutions to property investors and owners in the Chicago area.  They came to us wanting a site that promoted their company’s personal agenda whilst maintaining a professional demeanor.  They wanted something that would appeal just as much to those looking for premises in which to start their first business, as well as multi-million dollar investors on the search for a property to add to their portfolios.

What we did

We created a news-like, stand-out site that immediately created a professional business impression.  We made sure we emphasized the personal touch by putting together a ‘meet the team’ page with photographs of each team member tied in with a personal biography.  We created a properties listing page that was colorful and intuitive; that listed properties by area and value but could be tailored by a user to match their own personal requirements so they didn’t waste time in areas of the site that weren’t really of interest to them.  We made sure we added simple links to the company’s Facebook page and Twitter feed.  We also added links to allow the site searches, and for easy contact to be made with any individual at the company.

The result

A compact and professional-looking site that answered every one of Kiser Group’s needs.  They were impressed at how easy it was to get around the site, and how painless it was for any prospective client to obtain and tailor information acquired via the site to suit them perfectly.  They’re impressed with the higher levels of traffic they’ve obtained, and the increased levels of contacts that are being made.  We’re thrilled to have provided something that’s such a success for them, and hope to remain in their service for many years to come.

PINCollective was looking for a fresh and innovative approach to showcasing and sellling the very best in the field of Chinese contemporary art, culture and design. China is a proud nation with so much to offer in the art and design field and PINCollective wanted to share these treasures with the world. They needed us to showcase Chinese contemporary culture and to help them to move away from the popular stereotypes of mass manufacturing.

Practically speaking they needed a simple and easily navigable site with clean lines which is in keeping with the elegant works of art on show and for retail. Furthermore the site had to be something which could evolve and move forward in partnership with the designs.

What we did

In the world of art and design it important to stand out from the crowd. Innovation and individuality are key and with this in mind we created a contemporary and modern Magento ecommerce site where the layout, with its emphasis on simplicity, works so well as the art and design featured does the remainder of the talking. We created a beautiful gallery along with a concept store packed with stylish accessories and furniture. We knew that emphasis to detail was the way to go with this project and delivered astounding results.

We decided to categorize the site according to the various fabric types with photographs highlighting the beauty and fit of the covers. We then added the specifications and ideal applications for each fabric type. Links to distributers were also added along with a great Frequently Asked Questions page making the whole ordering process a breeze. Caltrend.com, being the leaders in the field, needed a site that was fitting for a leader.

What they needed

GrowYourOwnFoodExpo.com is an innovative expo aimed at the Los Angeles organic food producers and devotees. Restaurants, entrepreneurs and consumers are moving towards healthy and organic lifestyles more and more and the expo is dedicated to achieving this with kitchen gardening and urban farming information and displays. The aim of the Expo was to showcase ground-breaking solutions, resources and equipment to facilitate the production of food at home and in community gardens. Their site needed to be informative and attractive to vendors and sponsors so they would take part in the expo which would, in turn, guarantee them a competitive advantage in the fast-growing Los Angeles marketplace.

What we did

The design of this site is simple and informative with easy to fill out registration forms. We included pages for vendors, visitors, speakers, press, volunteers and guests so all the information needed was at each persons’ fingertips. A floor plan of the expo display areas was included to give the vendors a good indication of the local of each area. We introduced a further page offering accommodation to attract those living further afield who also wanted to be part of this new innovative expo.

What we did

We first styled a memorable landing page that would immediately grab a user’s attention and persuade them that further exploration would be well worth their time.  We placed links that were easy to find above a centered image, and included telephone numbers.  Case Design pride themselves on the personal touch, and love to deal with customers as early as possible in the design process.  We added an online chat option to further make this possible.  To increase the interactivity of the site, we included videos that explained the options available to potential customers.  To help customers to feel the utmost confident in Case Design’s services, we sprinkled the site with testimonials from previous clients.

The Mischief Market is a multi-product merchant that sells apparel and other merchandise to a youth-centered audience.  They needed a site that was attractively designed and attention-grabbing yet simple to navigate; one that would showcase all they had to offer and make potential customers eager to part with their dollars.

What we did

We produced a colorful and bold site that focused on images; after all, a potential customer always wants to see what they are buying!  We created a consistent style throughout the site that is elegant and memorable.  The menus stand out as black-on-white or vice versa.  The site has a login and subscription function so customers are kept informed of new products that may be of interest to them.  We also created a safe and secure e-commerce solution to enable customers to make their purchases via the site.  Despite the number of images, the site loads instantly in all major browsers so potential customers don’t get bored and drift off elsewhere.  The site’s design took into account mobile platforms and looks just as impressive on a tablet or smart phone.

Empress Janitorial explained to us what their company needed; to bring in more customers and tap into local areas where their services were not yet established. We sat down with them and worked out a strategy to help them achieve this. Once we had an established game-plan our designers, developers and marketing experts thrashed out the technical bits needed to make this happen.

What we did

Everyone knows a picture is worth a thousand words. We put together a sideshow of striking yet subtle images that would grab a potential customer’s attention the moment they arrived on the site’s landing page. We created an elegant and simple design, based on the colors of the company logo; a site with uncluttered links and immediate responses to user clicks. We started by designing a logo and layout for the site that would appeal to all customers. Following this we created an interactive slide show (slider on front?), maps of their service area and a clear way to get an immediate quote.
