We couldn’t be happier when Loyola Marymount University approached us to continue our partnership and help out with a new academic campaign called LMYOU. LMYOU’s purpose is to creatively showcase the outstanding achievements of students and faculty at Loyola Marymount University. The website is coupled with banners and posters distributed throughout the university’s Los Angeles campus. After working with LMU to revamp their Marketing and Communications site, we knew the bar was already set quite high. LMYOU’s design needed to knock their socks off.
LMYOU’s design was carefully crafted after our designers heavily researched other similar websites and closely studied the campaign materials created for LMU by Pentagram, the same award-winning design agency that created Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign logo. LMYOU is not just about the LMU community as a whole, but the individual. This campaign resonates as it reflects LMU’s student-oriented education style.
We incorporated embedded HTML5 video as well as a custom-coded jQuery sorting grid with individual image tiles featuring students, faculty, and information about LMU’s rankings. Visitors can take a look at each individual’s accomplishments, share LMYOU profiles on social media, and even submit friends and faculty that deserve this honorable mention.
